In November 2018 I was invited to London, to deliver an IGNITE Talk to creative educators from around Europe and the Rest of the World, as part of the Adobe Education Leader Summit.
I decided to use this opportunity to illustrate how VFX and Post Production practices in Film, can help educators to contextualise Science and Math with the arts. I decided to use the act of welding as a metaphor for the vital link between art and science. I also shared my own practice as a Film Practitioner and Educator to contextualise and illustrate how this information could be easily be integrated into teaching practice at Secondary and Tertiary education, with little to no cost.
